Been busy with a few things. I've played the Rhythm Heaven (both) and beat them. The DS one is tough!
So! The Utopian Legend. I've been continuously thinking about the story, and certain situations within, and I've begun to think there are some that I may need to alter or change. Quite a few of these I've been meaning to share, but didn't know when. So now, allow me to share them with you. Conveniently, the issues in question seem to be each from one part of the story...
Part One:
Initially Russell's friend Terry Gato would die at the hands of the "Dark" Master Reiko, and that when facing the Angels of Death about returning her soul, he had to impress them by means of dance. This was supposed to link to a few earlier events when Terry taught Russell to dance in order for his mind to focus on something other than the darkness within.
But now that idea seems a bit odd, though I'm certain a few friends have thought so beforehand. The issue is, I still want Russell to face the Angels of Death to regain Terry's soul, but I don't know how Russell's supposed to earn it. One thing I'm certain of, however, is that he will not fight them. Seeing as they know he attained a created body, they would find it an unfair advantage to him.
Part Two:
Iris Chymara arrives in the Far East and meets Huaren Song, the Snowlion that has been established as Giovanni's "keeper." Huaren and Iris hang out together, and he is able to help curb her aggressive Werewolf self with his calm and intelligent nature along with a little help from his special three Gankyil. You see, Iris has been trying to score a boyfriend for quite some time, but her Werewolf tendencies often scare them off and/or get her into serious trouble.
The issue in question involves an actual relationship between Iris and Huaren. While I think I may have been drifting towards making them a couple, now I'm not seeing too much a connection. Huaren's nice disposition and Iris's rough and tough attitude don't seem to make an ideal match. So I may end up with them being good friends. Besides, I think Huaren is quite content being single. I mean, he's content with everything else...
Part Three:
Essentially, the issue in question in the last part is the ending. Sketch's fate becomes sealed, and the Dark Energy dilemma is finally resolved. But the way things panned out in the ultimat climax didn't seem fair to one or two characters, and didn't really click. I have somewhat of an idea how to fix this though. I suppose one of the only things to investigate in this area is how to end off the thing. I kinda want to end it at sort of a cliffhanger, but not so much the bad kind...
So that's what's been coursing through my head for a good while. I'm always open to a suggestion or two.
A lot of the jokes are specifically based upon the later Mega Man games (not including the recent Mega Man 9), with the rest referring to the series as a whole, especially one of the Easter eggs.

It's an interesting proposition, but I'm afraid I will have to decline. For one, if I wanted characters of mine to be in a video game, I'd rather they were officially included. X3
And two, as much as I would love to see Sketch in a Mega Man game (as you may see in a recent submission), I'd imagine his gameplay mechanics would be much different from Mega Man's.
Hey. I watched Pompous Robots and noticed Sketch in the easter egg. I actually made a character that looks like him and I didn't even realize it. Anyway, I thought Sketch looks like what my character SHOULD'VE looked like. Introducing the less awesome Sketch Tucker wannabe...here.
Heh. Indeed, I can see some similarities! Sketch has always been a favorite character of mine, and his development over the years made him seem that much cooler to me. :3
